I have been a Primary Teacher for over 20 years and have seen the way society is changing. Our children, like us, are living in a fast paced world. They have many opportunities to attend clubs and activities, which while stimulating and good often mean they are rushed from one venue to another, trying to fit homework, school and family life in and around their activities. Kids are not always given the opportunity to “just be” and learn tools that can help them in their future years. I have trained through the Connected Kids programme and also through my kid’s yoga training with Chrysalis Kids to teach children both mindfulness and yoga on a 1:1 and group basis.
Having Chris as my tutor at the beginning of my journey in teaching children’s meditation was a true blessing. Before I even made the decision to do the course she was constantly available via phone calls for any questions and worries I needed reassurance with. She offered me so much support and patience from the get go. It was a wonderful experience doing the training with her. Her warm and grounding energy enabled me to be receptive to the years of experience she has as a meditation teacher. She is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to teaching children. She continues to be a support and guide to me on my journey. Thank you Chris ❤️
“I really enjoyed the one-to-one training with Chris in the calm space of her home. I benefitted from sharing different meditative practices through the training sessions, and exploring creative resources for teaching children meditation. Chris has a wonderful presence, has been very supportive, and has a great experience working with children. I found this very motivating and encouraging.”
“Chris has a warm empathic manner which is truly encouraging. She has really inspired me and given me the confidence to believe that I can make a difference by introducing children to mindfulness. The sessions were both fun and informative. Chris is an educator, mentor, motivator and supporter all in one.”
