Midweek Mindfulness! – Wednesday 21st February – 10th April 2024

A new 8 week adult mindfulness course begins in Corstorphine, Edinburgh in February 2024. This course is based on both Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques. There will be a maximum of 6 participants to enable an in depth and interactive course in a safe and supported environment. Suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to explore their own mindful practice through discussion, meditations and mindful activities incorporating:-

Session 1: Waking up from automatic pilot – Mindful Awareness

Session 2: Another Way of Being: Keeping the body in mind

Session 3: Gathering the scattered mind – Dealing with thoughts mindfully

Session 4: Recognising Reactivity – learning to respond

Session 5: Turning towards difficulty – Allowing & Letting be

Session 6: Responding and communicating skilfully

Session 7: Loving Kindness – taking care of myself?

Session 8: Your Mindful Life

The course will run for 8 consecutive weeks from Wednesday 21st February – 10th April 2024 Inclusive. Venue: Corstorphine, Edinburgh.

9:30 am – 11:00am.
